It’s no surprise that legoland was and still is my children’s favorite stop. This is something they have dreamed about since they first learned of it’s existence. Infact if give the choice between Legoland or Disneyland … Legoland won hands down.
Over the course of 10 days we went to legoland 6 times. Part of it was be cause as MiKael / Emmet Puts it, it’s AAAwesome! The other part is because in October it’s only open 10 am to 5 pm, and we arrived at noon. You cannot see and do all there is to do in legoland in 5 hours. You really can’t even do that when it’s open 12 hours, not if you spend time at the various build stations or actually interact with the display and ride all the rides.
The first thing you will notice about Legoland is that it is not all about the rides… infact it’s all about the legos and the rides are thrown in for kicks. With that in mind we spent most of our first day there looking at or building with Legos. -I was actually disappointed a little with the lego exhibits, they were faded, cracked and some were covered in cobwebs. It’s time for some maintenance Legoland, some of it you can’t help after all legos fade in the sun.

A couple of Rides. Hero Factory Builds.
It was odd to head home and not be tired from a day running around an amusement park, but it was only about 5 hours. The kids were quite and still in awe of the fact we had finally made it to Legoland. Honestly, for them at that time the trip could have ended here and we could have lived in that area forever. We hadn’t even made it to beach yet.
Have you been to legoland? What was your first impression or thoughts?
